This week’s episode features Belgium based speed painter Montana Engels. This is actually a rerecord because the first time I interviewed Montana live on Instagram about 6 months ago, the system decided to completely shut off mid conversation, so we lost everything. That is when I started screen recording every single episode from then on out to make sure we recorded the audio just in case something like that ever happened again. Anyway, Montana and I picked up right where we left off, only this time I knew so much more about her and could dive into the specifics of her art business. Some of those specifics include live painting at events! Montana is a speed painter with a really cool technique where she paints with a clear medium and then throws glitter all over the canvas as a surprise reveal to the audience. We talk about how she gets these jobs, where it all started, how she prepares for the crowd, and everything else that goes into.
