This week’s episode features Australia based wildlife artist Carla Grace. This conversation is a look into what it’s like to grow slowly but intentionally. Carla puts a lot of time and thought into her art and you can tell that by observing her paintings. So much detail is required to get that realism effect and she is the type of artist who puts in the time to learn her craft before expecting a ton of sales. There’s this learning phase we all have to go through, and I think Carla is a great example of someone who really took the time to make her product the best it could be and then took off with it. The better you can be at painting, the easier it is to promote and market that product. Carla shares how she sells to a higher clientele and lives up to the expectations throughout the entire buying process. Everything is top quality from the brand of paint to the customer communication and I think that’s a great reminder of what it takes for artists who are wanting to sell at that level. This interview gives such a different perspective into the world of selling high end canvases as opposed to our typical mural talk and I’m excited for you to hear it! Let me know what you think of this week’s episode with Carla Grace.
