This week's episode on the Artist Academy Podcast features Nashville-based muralist Tarabella Aversa.

I love talking with fellow muralists about the day-to-day tasks, the customer outreach, and most of all, the money that comes from this line of work. It’s so funny the similarities that all of these muralists from across the globe have, but I’m intrigued every time someone tells me something different.

In this interview, Tarabella talks about starting out with photo op-art, which gave her the exposure to kick start her mural career (same as me), but there were so many differences in our pricing strategies (I price by the hour, and she prices by square foot) and our artist competition demographics (a male-dominated crowd surrounds her and all I see are other female muralists).

There’s no 100% correct way to break into this industry which is why I love giving you a variety of methods from a variety of artists so that YOU can decide for yourself the best way to go about it.
